I am still stuck on this notion that movement is a fundamental aspect of perception. I find so much beauty in the shear fact that we are able to move, to physically move our bodies....a tangible object that contains who we really are. I've always thought about growing up and how the only constant is change right? Our bodies our constantly undergoing physical changes, as is our species as a whole. So if we are always changing, cells regenerating, and we are becoming a completely "new" entity.. what is it of us that remains the same? There is a deeper "you" inside the tangible you, who moves forward as you physically change throughout life. It's like a cycle of movement that never stops. We are born, grow older, and older, pass on, energy regenerates, we are born into something new.. and so on... and so on.. Movement occurs in cyclical time, a circular progression, I've come to think that it is the unspoken language of man. I want to confront this movement, analyze it, I want to see it, record it.. I want to know what it feels like to think with the body instead of the mind.
More to come.
