Being Dimensional
Blown Glass Installation, Silver Nitrate, Clear Lacquer, 2017
I often think about what it means to occupy a space and how one can make a space tangible. How does adding yourself to an environment change the dimensionality of that space? I am interested in the physicality of a space, and the experiences we have within that space. These forms are created to alter the perspective of the viewer and allow for one to find themselves within my glass objects. My intention is that my work creates a moment that transcends the physicality of a space, and allows curiosity to raise questions on our own bodies physicality.
